Information Edge Architecture

Web Browser Architecture: All products are web browser applications that means no software needs to be installed or maintained on the desktop. So no more worries about having to comply with the "corporate desktop standard's".

Host Centric Architecture: All products are centralised database applications that means only one version of the software needs to be loaded and maintained. No more worries about having to issue and control versions of Excel workbooks on the Desktop. With Prove the users automatically get loaded with the latest configuration of the centrally administered system.

Web Centric Architecture: This is a major advantage especially when users are remotely located as there is no need to install expensive network links (i.e. a Wide Area Network) to provide users on-line access to the Prove application. Also if a LAN/WAN is used the network traffic is insignificant relative to client/server applications.

Platforms:  All products run on the popular Unix platforms such as IBM RS 6000, HP UX and Sun Solaris as well as on Intel platforms.  TeraSolve has been certified on SUSE Linux.

Databases: TeraSolve runs on industry standard RDBMS's such as DB2, Oracle and SQL Server.

TeraSolve technology: OLAP functionality is provided by TeraSolve - the most powerful and scalable OLAP technology available.

Languages: TeraSolve is written in a full J2EE environment.  There is some C++ code on some modules in Prove that is being re-written and the product will then be fully J2EE compliant.

Scalability: TeraSolve, its scalability and ability to deal with complexity is unmatched by any other BPM application.
