H.M Treasury

The HM Treasury uses it's purpose built application to collect the required budget and forecast data in a single system leading to highly efficient, transparent and traceable process.

The Treasury's Budgeting System (PES) had run its course and needed to be replaced.  It could no longer cope with the demands and needs of its users and was outdated in its functionality and capabilities.  After a feasibility study was conducted it was evident that the existing different software platforms in different formats caused a great deal of problems and it was strongly recommended that a fully integrated single data system be put in place.

Charity Commission

The Charity Commission improves quality and delivery of Management Reporting with new system

With disparate sources of information, numerous spreadsheets and no efficient way to measure performance the Charity Commission needed a dashboard and reporting solution.  With the implementation of Information Edge idesk the presentation of user friendly performance management information is now delivered directly to senior managers desktops allowing focused analysis of performance and more informed decision making.

The reporting solution consolidates the disparate data eradicating previous data consolidation and reporting errors. This has freed up resource to analyse and report on the data to provide a more informed narrative to support decision making.

At an operational level it has increased the visibility of performance at all levels in the organisation.  It has allowed the organisation to work around resource constraints and to re-allocate resource to tackle areas which are in danger of failed to meet targets.

Airline

The Airline needed to implement a data warehousing and business intelligence solution to handle its large volumes of data and complex data structures in order to make mission critical decisions regarding route profitability.  The Airlines existing technology suffered from database blowout and unreliability due to the 9 dimensional schema.
